President & Chief Executive Officer
NMLS ID 910267Mr. Donnelly has been in banking for more than 34 years. In his career he has been involved in all aspects of banking including lending, operations, human resources, asset/liability management and retail deposit operations. Mr. Donnelly received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University. He has experience in economic development, municipal government and chamber of commerce. Mr. Donnelly joined Bank of the Prairie in 2010 as the bank’s Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer and assumed the role of President and CEO in May of 2013. He currently serves as a City Council member for the City of Tonganoxie. He also serves on the Kansas Bankers Association Board of Directors, the Kansas Development Finance Authority Board of Directors, Kansas Housing Resources Corporation Board of Directors and the Sacred Heart Church Finance Council. Mr. Donnelly is a past member of the City of Tonganoxie Planning and Zoning Commission, Past President and Board Member of Leavenworth Area Development Corp., Past President Tonganoxie Chamber of Commerce, past Board Member Leavenworth/Lansing Chamber of Commerce.
Chief Financial OfficerMr. Hixson has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from Wichita State University and is an alumni of The Graduate School of Banking at Colorado. Mr. Hixson has been in banking for 30+ years and has held positions of trust officer, internal auditor, compliance officer, asset/liability investment officer, BSA/AML officer, supervisor of deposit and loan operations and bank director. He has served as a Chief Financial Officer for 20+ years. Mr. Hixson joined Bank of the Prairie in 2007. Mr. Hixson was involved in public accounting for 7 years and has his CPA & CGMA designations from the State of Kansas. He is a member of AICPA and KSCPA, American Bankers Association and Kansas Bankers Association. He served as President of the Russell Chamber of Commerce, Past President Sunrise Kiwanis, served as Treasurer of Fort Scott Rotary, Finance Committee Chair for two churches and chaired various other committees in the past.
Senior Vice President Loan Officer
NMLS ID 910169Mr. Thomas has a Bachelor of Arts from UMKC and graduated Stonier Graduate School of Banking with thesis in 1981. He served as an instructor for Robert Morris & Associates Commercial Loans to Business course to regional young loan officers for 14 years. Mr. Thomas has been in banking for 50+ years. Mr. Thomas worked in banking while getting his undergraduate degree. Mr. Thomas became the youngest voting member of the Loan Committee in 1973 at the bank he was serving. He has served large national corporate accounts, medium to small businesses in financing equipment and handled one of the first ESOP loans made in the Kansas City area. Mr. Thomas also has been involved in commercial construction. Mr. Thomas started at Bank of the Prairie in 2007. He is Past President and Treasurer, and present Board Member of the Fox 4 Love Fund for Children (a 501.c.3 corporation) serving area children’s needs. He is a current board member of the Kansas State Historical Society and a past member of the Greater Kansas City Salvation Army Advisory Board.
Senior Vice President, Retail Deposit ManagerMs. Haller attended Johnson County Community College. She has 30+ years in Community Banking and has held positions of Operations Officer, Accounting/ Customer Service Supervisor, Retail Manager with an emphasis on Cash Management solutions for small businesses. Ms. Haller has been with Bank of the Prairie since 2013.
Senior Vice President, Commercial LendingMs. Case has a Masters of Business Administration from Rockhurst University with an emphasis in finance as well as a Bachelor of Science in Business and a Bachelor of General Studies in Psychology both from the University of Kansas. Ms. Case has been in commercial lending for 20 years and joined Bank of the Prairie in 2013. Prior to her banking career, Ms. Case worked in manufacturing, retail, and service companies including owning her own business. Ms. Case’s expertise is in small business financing with a particular emphasis on loans guaranteed by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA loans). Ms. Case is active in the Linwood Lions Club.

NMLS ID 798906Mrs. Engstrom has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Missouri – Kansas City. Deanne joined the bank in 2002. Deanne currently serves as a Loan Officer specializing in small to medium size business and commercial loans including commercial real estate, equipment/vehicle financing, lines of credit and residential construction. She also has past experience in retail and mortgage origination/processing. She sits on various committees in the bank including Marketing, Compliance and ALCO. She is a past member of Young Bankers of Kansas (YBOK), currently sits on the Education and HR Committee at Kansas Bankers Association and recently completed the Bank Leaders of Kansas (BLOK) program. She was born and raised in Olathe, Kansas.

He joined Bank of the Prairie in 2003 and served as the Bank’s Mortgage Operations Manager until he was promoted to Vice President in 2012. Andrew specializes in consumer residential mortgage lending and investment real estate lending. Andrew is a member of the Bank’s Compliance Committee and Marketing Committee, and he previously served as the Bank’s Security Officer. Andrew has been an Olathe resident since 2003.
Vice President Deposit OperationsMrs. Harrison attended Emporia State University and has been in banking for 35+ years. Debbie has been with Bank of the Prairie since 2007. Mrs. Harrison’s expertise resides in the daily balancing and general ledger processes. Mrs. Harrison helps run the United Way campaign at the bank every year.
Vice President Internal Audit and Loan ReviewMr. Fluderer has a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Kansas and an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from Johnson County Community College. Mr. Fluderer has been in banking for 20 years serving in the Retail, Loan Operations, Internal Audit and Loan Review capacities. Mr. Fluderer joined Bank of the Prairie in 2005.
Senior Vice President, Director of Information TechnologyMr. Tafoya has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science with emphasis in Information Systems from Fort Hays State University. He has been in banking IT since 2005working in Network Data Base Administration, Application Design, Virtualization, Information Security and Risk Management. Mr. Tafoya has been at Bank of the Prairie since 2008. He is a member of Kansas Bankers Association.

He has over 12 years of banking experience in commercial lending, consumer lending, loan operations and retail operations. Mr. Galbrecht serves as a Loan Officer specializing in small to medium size business and commercial loans including commercial real estate, equipment financing, lines of credit and residential construction. Mr. Galbrecht has been at Bank of the Prairie since 2005. he was born and raised in Olathe and is a member of Young Bankers of Kansas (YBOK) and Board Member and Treasurer for Pathway to Hope.
Vice President, Loan Operations OfficerMrs. Young attended both Johnson County Community College and Baker University. She has 15+ years of banking experience in the following areas: Commercial Lending with a focus primarily on daily management and/or oversight of lending budget, strategic planning, incentive planning, OREO, LLLR and Other Assets. She also has 3 years in retail banking management. Mrs. Young has 20 years of management and operational experience in training, non-profit, marketing and banking. Mrs. Young joined Bank of the Prairie in 2011. Mrs. Young is active in the Keith Worthington ALS Association Chapter in Overland Park, Kansas having served as a Committee Member and as a Team Captain for their annual walk.
