Mr. Donnelly has been in banking for more than 34 years. In his career he has been involved in all aspects of banking including lending, operations, human resources, asset/liability management and retail deposit operations. Mr. Donnelly received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University. He has experience in economic development, municipal government and chamber of commerce. Mr. Donnelly joined Bank of the Prairie in 2010 as the bank’s Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer and assumed the role of President and CEO in May of 2013. He currently serves as a City Council member for the City of Tonganoxie. He also serves on the Kansas Bankers Association Board of Directors, the Kansas Development Finance Authority Board of Directors, Kansas Housing Resources Corporation Board of Directors and the Sacred Heart Church Finance Council. Mr. Donnelly is a past member of the City of Tonganoxie Planning and Zoning Commission, Past President and Board Member of Leavenworth Area Development Corp., Past President Tonganoxie Chamber of Commerce, past Board Member Leavenworth/Lansing Chamber of Commerce.
Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Hixson has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from Wichita State University and is an alumni of The Graduate School of Banking at Colorado. Mr. Hixson has been in banking for 30+ years and has held positions of trust officer, internal auditor, compliance officer, asset/liability investment officer, BSA/AML officer, supervisor of deposit and loan operations and bank director. He has served as a Chief Financial Officer for 20+ years. Mr. Hixson joined Bank of the Prairie in 2007. Mr. Hixson was involved in public accounting for 7 years and has his CPA & CGMA designations from the State of Kansas. He is a member of AICPA and KSCPA, American Bankers Association and Kansas Bankers Association. He served as President of the Russell Chamber of Commerce, Past President Sunrise Kiwanis, served as Treasurer of Fort Scott Rotary, Finance Committee Chair for two churches and chaired various other committees in the past.

Mrs. Engstrom has a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Missouri – Kansas City. Deanne joined the bank in 2002. Deanne currently serves as a Loan Officer specializing in commercial loans including builder residential construction, residential and commercial development, commercial real estate, religious facilities, operating lines of credit, commercial vehicle/trailer, equipment, acquisitions, agriculture, consumer loans and credit cards. She also has past experience in retail and mortgage origination/processing. She sits on various committees in the bank including Marketing, Compliance and ALCO. She is a past member of Young Bankers of Kansas (YBOK), currently sits on the Education and HR Committee at Kansas Bankers Association and recently completed the Bank Leaders of Kansas (BLOK) program. Deanne is also a Board Member for the Love Fund for Children. She was born and raised in Olathe, Kansas.

Ms. Case has a Masters of Business Administration from Rockhurst University with an emphasis in finance as well as a Bachelor of Science in Business and a Bachelor of General Studies in Psychology both from the University of Kansas. Ms. Case has been in commercial lending for 20 years and joined Bank of the Prairie in 2013. Prior to her banking career, Ms. Case worked in manufacturing, retail, and service companies including owning her own business. Ms. Case’s expertise is in small business financing with a particular emphasis on loans guaranteed by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA loans). Ms. Case is active in the Linwood Lions Club.
Senior Vice President, Commercial Lending
Mr. Turner has been in the banking industry for more than 23 years. In his career, he has had management oversight of Commercial Lending, Mortgage and Consumer lending, Loan and Deposit Operations, and Treasury Management. He has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Colorado State University. Shawn has served on multiple Boards and chaired numerous committees though out his career in Banking. He currently sits on the board for the Olathe YMCA and is active in the Olathe Chamber. Shawn is a seasoned banker specializing in small to medium-size business with commercial loan needs including commercial real estate, equipment/vehicle financing, lines of credit and residential construction.

Mr. Galbrecht graduated from Emporia State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. He has over 13 years of banking experience in commercial lending, consumer lending, loan operations and retail operations. Mr. Galbrecht serves as a Loan Officer specializing in small to medium size business and commercial loans including commercial real estate, equipment financing, lines of credit and residential construction. Mr. Ellner graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science in Education. He joined Bank of the Prairie in 2003 and served as the Bank’s Mortgage Operations Manager until he was promoted to Vice President in 2012. Andrew specializes in consumer residential mortgage lending and investment real estate lending. Andrew is a member of the Bank’s Compliance Committee and Marketing Committee, and he previously served as the Bank’s Security Officer. Andrew has been an Olathe resident since 2003.

Ms. Haller attended Johnson County Community College. She has 30+ years in Community Banking and has held positions of Operations Officer, Accounting/ Customer Service Supervisor, Retail Manager with an emphasis on Treasury Management solutions for small businesses. Ms. Haller has been with Bank of the Prairie since 2013.
Assistant Vice President, Banking Center Manager
Mr. Lawton attended both Johnson County Community College and the University of Kansas. Mr. Lawton is actively involved with the youth in the community through coaching youth sports teams and tutoring for ACT and SAT. He has been in banking for over 10 years and joined Bank of the Prairie in 2009, holding several positions in both retail and lending during this time. Mr. Lawton currently manages the bank’s College Blvd. branch.
Assistant Vice President, Banking Center Manager
Ms. Cowan has a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Kansas State University with an emphasis in Management. She has been in Retail banking for the past 6 years and joined Bank of the Prairie in 2015 where she manages the 151st St. branch. Ms. Cowan is currently involved with the Santa Fe Trail Rotary Club and an active member with the Olathe Chamber of Commerce, served as co-chair of the Liaison Committee where she is still a member, and is active as an Ambassador. She has held numerous positions in boy scouts, girl scouts, MOPS and the school booster club. Ms. Cowan is a graduate of Leadership Olathe 2016.

Mr. Tafoya has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science with emphasis in Information Systems from Fort Hays State University. He has been in banking IT since 2005working in Network Data Base Administration, Application Design, Virtualization, Information Security and Risk Management. Mr. Tafoya has been at Bank of the Prairie since 2008. He is a member of Kansas Bankers Association.
Vice President, Controller
Mrs. Harrison attended Emporia State University and has been in banking for 35+ years. Debbie has been with Bank of the Prairie since 2007. Mrs. Harrison’s expertise resides in the daily balancing and general ledger processes. Mrs. Harrison helps run the United Way campaign at the bank every year.
Vice President, Internal Audit and Loan Review
Mr. Fluderer has a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Kansas and an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from Johnson County Community College. Mr. Fluderer has been in banking for 20 years serving in the Retail, Loan Operations, Internal Audit and Loan Review capacities. Mr. Fluderer joined Bank of the Prairie in 2005.
Vice President, Loan Operations
Mrs. Riley graduated from Fort Hays University with a Bachelor of General Studies with a dual emphasis in Psychology and Sociology. Melanie has 17 years of banking experience with over 14 years of retail management. She joined Bank of the Prairie in January 2016.
Assistant Vice President, Human Resources, Accounts Payable, Marketing
Mrs. Booe has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Emporia State University. She is a member of the SHRM (Society of Human Resources) National Organization as well as the local Johnson County group. Mrs. Booe serves as a member of the USD367 (Osawatomie) School Board and is very involved in her community. She heads up the bank’s United Way Campaign. Mrs. Booe has been at Bank of the Prairie since 2008.
