What happens if I forget my Online Banking PIN?
You are allowed 3 attempts to enter your PIN. If unsuccessful after the 3rd attempt, you will be locked out of Online Banking for a 24 hour period. This period begins from the time you were unsuccessful. After the 24 hour period, you may attempt to log in again.

What happens if I don't log off the system?
Online Banking has a 10 minute time-out feature. If you are logged in for 10 consecutive minutes without using Online Banking, you will have to log in again to resume banking.

Can I download my bank account information into my financial software package?
Yes. Most software packages allow you to download account information from Online Banking. Once enrolled with Online Banking, linked to the "Help" function to obtain step by step directions for downloading. However, please be aware that each software package is different, depending on the version and the format chosen for download. If you are required additional software support, we strongly encourage you to contact the manufacturer.

BILL PAYMENTS
How do I add optional Bill Payment service if I did not select it when I applied for Online Banking?
A Bill Payment Application is available by clicking on the Online Banking Application and Agreement and selecting the "Bill Pay Application." Application Forms are available by visiting any branch office.

How much does Online Bill Paying cost and when will I be charged for the service?
The following fees may be assessed against your account: Monthly User Fees and Transaction Fees will be charged to your account on the 4th day of each month. - NSF Insufficient funds to make bill payment

When and how are bill payments processed?
Scheduled payments are processed daily at 2:00 AM and 12:00 noon (CST).
If the payment is by check, the check is usually mailed the following morning. Please note, it generally takes 5-7 business days for the check to be mailed and processed. Please consider adjusting the payment date to account for this.
Electronic payments also go out after the payment is processed. Since electronic payments are processed through the Federal Reserve, we can't guarantee when the payments will be deducted from your account. However, this process normally happens immediately.

You can pay anyone in the United States. The only restriction is that you cannot pay any government agencies.

So whether you are enrolling online for Internet Banking, transferring money or paying your bills, you can depend on your accounts and your account information being safe.

What can I do to protect my accounts and personal information while I'm banking online?
Bank of the Prairie takes extra measures to keep your accounts and personal information secure, but you also play a role in maintaining the security of your banking information. Following are a few steps that you can take to ensure the integrity of your Online Banking. - Memorize your password
- Your online password authenticates you when you begin an online session. You should memorize this password and never write it down anywhere or reveal it to anyone.
- Change your password regularly
- It's important to change your password regularly, which you can easily do when you begin an Online Banking session.
- Remember to sign off
- You may not always be at your own computer when you bank online. Therefore, it's important to sign off when your finished banking. If you forget to do so, we will automatically sign you off after 10 minutes of inactivity.

What security measures are taken to prevent sensitive information from being intercepted online?
All Online Banking sessions are encrypted. This means that your password and all information relating to you and your accounts have been set up with stringent security standards providing a safe means for you to bank at home.
