 Bank of the Prairie is a service-focused community bank located in the greater Kansas City metropolitan area in Olathe, Kansas. Although our customers are located throughout the greater Kansas City area, our primary service area is Olathe and Southern Johnson County, Kansas.

Robert M. Wiley, President/CEO
Mr. Wiley holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from the Bloch School of Business at the University of Missouri – Kansas City and has been a Kansas City area banker for over 20 years. Mr. Wiley specializes in lending to area small and mid-sized businesses. His emphasis on personal relationship banking has helped mold Bank of the Prairie into the premier service-oriented bank in its market.
Steven A. Barclay, Senior Vice President
Mr. Barclay is a senior commercial lender for the Kansas City area market and has a specialized focus in residential and commercial real estate lending. Mr. Barclay has over 20 years of community banking and real estate lending experience and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business/Finance from Kansas State University.
Deanne R. Moore, Loan Officer
Ms. Moore holds her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Missouri - Kansas City. She is a life long resident of Olathe, KS. Ms. Moore specializes in commercial and residential real estate lending. Additionally, Ms. Moore has expertise with the Small Business Administration and their programs to help small and medium size businesses start, grow and succeed. Her office is located at our new branch location at 23600 College Boulevard.
James A. Thomas, Senior Vice President
Mr. Thomas is a senior commercial lender for the Kansas City area market. He has over 35 years of commercial banking relationship experience in both regional and community banks. Mr. Thomas graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1969, as well as being a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Rutgers University in 1981.
